Habitat2010

Habitat, 2010, steel, stoneware, glas, hardboard.

This was my graduation work for the arts academy. My idea was that viewers could rearrange the configuration as they wished. Turned out that mostly only children dared to play like this.
I sold the tower right away at the graduation exhibition. The nice thing about the tower is the movement of the steel panels. In the slightest breeze they begin to move with a very gentle and soothing sound of small bells.
It has been exhibited twice since then, once with the tower which the new owner lend me, later without the tower in a new configuration named “Cross-Roads”
